This BLOG exists to promote the FLINT HILLS OF KANSAS as a tourism destination for experiential tourists who seek a new place to visit, a place to enjoy and appreciate nature, history and culture while maintaining the environment unchanged for the enjoyment of those who come after us. Rural economic development to sustain the Flint Hills environment, heritage and culture is a direct benefit of being a tourism destination.

Thank you for your comment on my blog. You are more than welcome to link to the post. There will be more posts about the flint hills, it is where I learned to homestead. Plus next spring we will be riding up, and that will be posted on my other blog; Following the Yellow Brick Road.
Enjoying your blog.
Thank you for commenting on my blog a couple weeks ago. I just wanted to let you know I put a link to your blog on mine as requested. I have cycled from NY to Utah and the flint hills are one of my favorite places. When I'm finished with my trip I plan on taking a much closer look at your blog and plan on reading the NG article.
