If you love researching and preserving family history and are looking for more information on proper handling of old memorabilia, the latest methods for preserving memories in scrapbooks or showing off your photos in computer presentations, how to take better photographs that will tell future generations more about their ancestors, or what local history and genealogical resources are available at the newly-expanded Chase County Historical Museum and Library, this free workshop is for you.
Join us at the museum, 301 Broadway in Cottonwood Falls, at 3:30 pm on Saturday, May 9 for a series of short and engaging presentations on Practical Tips for Collecting and Preserving Family History. The workshop will include a multi-media sneak preview of Helen Rogler’s remarkable scrapbook collection that covers most of the twentieth century and includes intimate glimpses into the lives of Maud and Henry Rogler and their extended family. This collection is held by the Pioneer Bluffs Foundation and will soon be archived and available to researchers.

Hope some of you can participate!
See you in the Kansas Flint Hills! ;-)
