Harvey House Picnic

Get ready to visit Florence next weekend for the 2008 Harvey House Picnic on the Lawn.
Your free will offering helps support the museum and ongoing expenses. For your generous donation you will enjoy fried fish, mountain oysters, in-season vegetables, homemade rolls and a wide variety of salads and desserts! YUM! ;-)

This annual event, held the Saturday before the 4th of July each year, will begin at 5:30 p.m.
Learn about the Harvey House history, at the event, and by clicking here.
Your support of the picnic will support the work to maintain this fine piece of heritage in Florence!

See you in the Kansas Flint Hills! ;-)

Dr. Bill - thanks for the kind words on our blog visit to Kansas. I saw your notice about the Goessel Mennonite Barn Tour. Five years ago we visited Goessel for the Wheat Heritage Engine and Thrashing fair. What a delightful time that was during our first year as full-timers! We are anxious to return to Kansas and see the undamaged plains!
